Move2Perform Pre-Season Conditioning





We are excited to kick-off the Move2Perform Pre-Season Conditioning program tomorrow.  

  • Program schedule is Monday & Thursday 5:30 - 6:30pm beginning August 10, 2017 @ Van Bourgondein Park (GPS Address - 662 Albin Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704)

Program Delivery

 
  • Phase I - Motor Control and Functional Strength
  • Phase II - Postural Control and Work Capacity
  • Phase III - Explosive Strength, Speed, and Endurance
  • Phase IV - Sport Specific Strength, Speed and Endurance
Players will work out with an SFP Coach 2x per week as well as have their own account on the SFP Training App. The SFP Training App will prescribe specific workouts for each player to do at home, as a warm up, and on recovery days. Players are required to “check in” for each workout. There will be educational content as well as ability to message a coach in the app if they have questions on the workouts. All workouts include exercise videos native in the app and athletes can also log any additional workouts they do on their own. The app integrates with My Fitness Pal if they would like to track their nutrition as well. There is also a new Group Feature within the app so teammates can interact and motivate each other.
 

Through our individualized intake and screening process we can identify weak links 
and limiting factors to prioritize training goals for each athlete. It also helps us set a baseline to effectively monitor if the training is creating a positive change. Each player is prescribed an area to focus on to reduce the risk of injury, improve performance in practice, and ultimately improve overall long term performance.
